Ah Internet.
Been directly linked to David H's comp for a render farm type of setup, with me running premiere at real-time and him running After FX on normal. His computer was so much faster than mine, that his programs still worked faster than mine, even though my CPU priority was set to the highest level available.
*looks around*
Ok, yeah, in English that means that we were working on the same project from two different computers, but I had to take mine offline to do that. His computer is really SUPER fast, and mine is just an average work PC.
So, I have been thinkin' 'bout putting in a liquid cooler on my system, due to the very LOUD noise levels coming from my 12 cm fans in my case.
Gonna try to overclock (make it go faster than it was designed by using naughty tricks) my processor when I do get a chance.
We've been editing and stuff, so not too much else has happened.
What have we been editing?
Siblings. The intro for which of course is:
"In the beginning, God created the Heavens and the earth. A little while after that, Adam and Eve ate the forbidden fruit, and mankind fell.
Whaddaya know but right after that, two brothers are born, and one slays the other. When I read that, I knew my problem wasn't new. Siblings had been causing chaos since the beggining."
Yeah. It's not a very good production. The Audio is HORRIBLE and you can barely understand what is being said. I have two options: subtitles (eww) or ADR(double eww). ADR is the shortened form of audio dialogue replacement, which basically means, rerecording the lines later, and posting the new good audio over the top of the good video, and deleting the old bad audio.
See?
Yeah.
Oh well.
I'll post a couple screenshots from the movie.
We also want a Cannon XL2 or a Panasonic DVX100a. Better yet, we want the Sony HDR-Z1, due to the fact that it shoots HD resolution, on your standard old DV tape. Beautifully designed, and shoots closer to the film frame rate of 24/48.
One neat thing it has is that thar LCD mounted in FRONT of the camera. One thing is lacks is XLR connections and better video contrast.
Oh well. It's still a nice cam. With my current computing equipment however, the best option is the cannon XL2, due to its 24 progressive frame rate.
Nice camera, and it captures the film look entirely. Not the movie look, the film look. The movie look involves colors, depth of field, and lighting, the film look only involves the motion signature of film.
Wow, I didn't mean to write so technically.
Oh yeah, back to the pictures.

That's Gator (Jeffrey, for Jennifer's sake), coughing.

That's me and Reagan (Reagan and I, for Jennifer's sake). I'm answering the evil phone.
It was originally going to be a gift for our grandparents, but I guess we'll send a copy to anyone who wants one.
I just have to finish it first. :)
You guys have a good time doing God's work, and by the way, I found out how dagblasted annoying bloggers comments section is. They've really destroyed it to some degree, but I'm going to try and fix it.

Oh, and I would like to say Hi to my General, Jared Kuhn.
We need to play another war game my friend!
