Wow, where does money go?

So, I just bought some stuff.

Final Draft 7.1, (a 250 dollar program), and 280 dollars worth of books and vids, from Screenstyle.com.

250 dollars worth of books from various sources.

208 dollars worth of XLR adapter gizmo's and DV tapes from BHphotovideo.com .

And I'll soon be purchasing a Bogen 3126 Fluid tripod head. I might be able to pick one up used off eBay, but pickin's are slim and the Sibs 2 shoot should start on Independence Day.

It might not though.... *shudders* It might have to wait longer...

One of the books I bought from various sources was Frank Peretti's book 'Monster'. I've heard it's the best book he's written yet, and I've heard it's the worst book he's written yet. I've heard it's the scariest book he's written yet, and I've heard it's the most boring book he's written yet.

Either way, he's written it yet, and I can't wait to read it.

I might have to wait 'til after Siblings 2 though. :(

The September 1'st deadline draws closer every second, and I'm chilled with the thought that things might go wrong. *shudders*.

Well, I'd better be off to bed, and pray that God will make my remaining dollars last longer than these first ones did.

Oh yeah, in other news, I'm building a Glidecam and a Jib in the shop from random parts. Boy, they look weird. I'll have to post pictures of my 'High Tech' 2 by 4's and bolts. Really strange stuff.

John Dear! Oh wait, *cough*, John Deere!!

We are now (almost) the proud owners of a John Deere Zero Turn 757 Riding lawn mower. It has a 60 inch cutting deck, and a ground speed of over 10 miles an hour, which means lots flying grass.

The cool thing is the zero turn abilities of the mower. This enables the machine to quickly spin and maneuver in the midst of all the trees in our driveway.

I might make a music video with it. :-)

I'm not kidding either.

Wait for Me by Rebecca St. James is my new favorite song, and will be so until I hear a new song. :-D

Anyway, now to reply to a few comments yawl have posted. I really feel good getting back to the blog. It's amazing that I can force myself to do it. It's like brushing my teeth; It's a pain, but if I don't do it, I feel scummy.

That was a very gross comparison, but you get the bigger picture. Ok, comments.

And I want you to know I agree with you on the wheat bread. Darla is a budding chef and she loves to make home made bread. Bread is kinda her thing, I don't know she just likes to make it. Not so much she enjoys making bread she just likes to know how to make bread dough so she can turn them into cinnamon rolls.

George Grant is a writer, and a speaker at last years San Antonio Independent Christian Film Festival. He makes some good points, but his voice is nearly unbearable. I might have to post an MP3 from one of his lectures.

Well, I've got a cramped schedule.

But I DID make time for a blog post. :-)

My schedule is as crammed the mouth of a mouse caught in a mousetrap - in fact, that's what I feel like.

I've got several projects for Dad going on, such as the backing up of old, unreplacable tape sets, and the digital restoration of old damaged and unreplacable tape sets, and the copying of old, unreplacable tape sets.... get the picture?

Is unreplacable even a word?

Also on my agenda is the inglorious task of fixing up HeuMoore.com to have a little more than a broken link to an old XS commercial. I need to get my stuff up and running.

Siblings 2 has finished it's first draft and has been cast (well, for the most part), but it needs a second draft, and likely a third.

A stray German Shepherd puppy wandered into our yard and now we've got to take care of her until we find someone else to. She's a beautiful dog, and sweet tempered, but we've already got three dogs, two horses, and 6 cows.

Oh yes! Our steer is back from the butcher shop. I must say, the meat is VERY good. I might have had better, but I don't remember when! Awesome.

On top of the digital work, I'd like to fix up the fence on our property, get some grass growing in the yard where the former owners used to drive on it, and start training our horse. Along with my list of outside chores, Dad's outdoor compilation of projects grows everyday, and I couldn't finish all of them in a lifetime.

Maybe Jack and David will start picking up the slack though, who knows? Either way, it's a wonderful life, and I wouldn't have it any other way....

Of course, I can't really say I've been devoting all my energies towards these ever-important tasks; You DID see the pirate movie, and thus you know I have a little spare time. ;-)

World Unity? Sandwich.

Anybody catch Ian Hubert's, "The Sandwich"? If not, and you have high speed internet, it's a fun watch.

He made it in one week. ONE WEEK. That's incredible speed for a ten minute film with quality. And this does have a bit of quality.

Fun time. Fun fun fun. But yeah, wheat bread rules. Just want you all to know that.

In fact, home made bread is better yet.

And, I'm still writing Siblings 2, but it's getting to be more and more fun. I'm still less than half way through, but the beginning is tough. Shakespeare rewrote the beginning of Romeo and Juliet over 200 times.

Not that it was any good, but you know. He tried. ;-)

Anyone hear about that one? The guy who was ransoming the life of his pet rabbit. Crazy.

Basically, he had a pet rabbit, and no money to take care of him. So, he put up his own websiterator, and said to the world, "Hello world, I want money".

The deal was, if he got 50,000 dollars from web donations (paypal, of course) he would spare the rabbit. If not, he would eat him.

Fun huh?

*sigh* I want to go to another Gothard seminar. The basic will do. He's soooo good.

His commands of Christ series is EXCELLENT and quite enjoyable. Though I will admit, it's very convicting. So far, I've only read through 28 of them, and I've come to a conclusion: All have sinned, and fallen short of the glory of God. Heck, I'm 6'1" (and a little bit), and I'm STILL short of the glory of God. Hehe.


So, in other news, I'm writing Siblings 2: A penny for your thoughts. Gonna be fun. I HOPE to have it finished by September 1'st, as that is the deadline for the San Antonio Independant Christian Film Festival.

I hope that's the right address.

So, I hear that a lot of you enjoyed Siblings 1. That's good. Since I don't have a rabbit, I'm going to eat my siblings if you don't send me 50,000 dollars. No takers? *sigh*. I'm not hungry anyway.
