A few pictures.
This is my sister not long ago with her dog, Angel. This was taken on a cold day in January. Yes, Cold, in Texas. Shocking?
This was taken here in Texas in APRIL, and those little bits of white falling from the sky? SNOW. Yes, Snow in Texas. Shocking.
Left to right, Jeff Heustis (blender extraordinaire), John Moore (pyro extraordinaire), David Heustis (Visual Effects and Compositing Extraordinaire). Between Jeff and I is DeWalt (18 volt screwgun extraordinaire. I crouched to be level with Jeff and David (Jeff was standing in a hole) and David thought crouching was the order of the day, so crouching even FURTHER, I fit into the line of heads. It was epic.
And this is a new photo of David Heustis, taken that same April Day. For a five year old digital camera, I'm pretty happy with this picture.
Feeling like a photographer, I snapped this quick picture of my sister Reagan standing beside the firepit. The sun was coming through the trees just right. I liked the shot, so I took it quickly. Isn't interesting how the light seems to shine off of her, but in reality, the source of the light is elsewhere? Such is the nature of Christianity. We see righteous men doing incredible things, and we know that they're reflecting a small part of the Glory of Christ.
Not the source of the glory, but a reflection of it. 'Glorious Freedom' talks a bit about this; it's an excerpt form the works of Sibbes. Part of the 'Puritan Paperbacks' series that Vision Forum carries.
