Film Synopsis: Heartstrings!
Thank you all for your prayers and support!
(ever notice how the term 'moral support' seems to be phsycobabble for praying for someone? I wonder how that term originated...)
Dad and Mr. Heustis rushed the HeuMoore Productions submission package off just thirty minutes before midnight, bound for San Antonio. We now await the news (coming September 21'st) regarding semifinalist position.
And here is the film synopsis:
Heartstrings: Film Synopsis
The makers of Bubble Trouble are back with Heartstrings, another adventure in the Siblings series. During a family road trip, the Moores break down outside a bed and breakfast. Gator's sleuthing abilities find him in the middle of a secret treasure hunt, solving riddles and clues to a family mystery. The adventure, comedy, and drama of Heartstrings make this film a real treasure families can enjoy.
And there you have it. Heartstrings in a paragraph.
Our pros: A solid message with a very real, sober, and grounded feel, despite the childhood adventure themes.
Our cons: Poor production quality due mostly to incredibly short time frame (12 days to film, 9 days to edit a film which turned out to be 53 minutes and 30 seconds total), and a lack of humor due to cutting most jokes for the sake of length.
However, I feel that there are very few moral shortcomings in this films story; in Bubble Trouble, there were things I wish I had written differently. In What a Blast, there were major elements I wish were done differently. But Heartstrings I am fairly confident has a biblical framework within it.
More details later (and a production letter hopefully) to follow.
God Bless you all, thank the Lord for all his providences on this project when you pray tonight, and I hope to see you all at the film festival!
