HeuMoore was recently featured in Kaufman's paper, "Kaufman County Life".
In an era of high-budget Hollywood blockbusters, two young men from Kaufman County have taken another road into the film industry and won the Young Filmmaker's and Audience Choice awards at the country's largest Christian film festival.Filmmakers and best friends John Moore, 18, and David Heutis, 19, are not new to the industry, though. They had entered two other films at the San Antonio festival before winning with this year's entry, “Heartstrings: In the Beginning God Created Father and Sons.”
