Sarah Palin: What Does an Alaskan Think?
Many of you know that the Moore's, Moreland's, Heustis's, and many other friends of ours that now live in Texas, are from Alaska. In fact, all of us lived in or next door to the town of Wasilla, where Sarah Palin was just six years ago, served as mayor. Wasilla has a whopping population of 7,000. The whole state of Alaska only has a population of 680,000. But does her overnight run from being mayor of 7,000, to governor of less than a million, qualify her to be vice president over 300 million? I don't believe it does. In our dealings with her and her family, we have not experienced anything remotely close to what one would wish for in leaders of the nation.
But aside from qualifications of experience, our family believes there are some major biblical qualifications that she doesn't fulfill. In the following wonderful interview with Dr. Voddie Baucham on CNN, the primary problem as we view it is addressed. Dr. Baucham, thank you for standing firm in the face of the world, and addressing the biblical heart of the issue.
The video below has a short leader with other news articles as well. The interview begins at about one minute into the clip.
