Alaskan Beauty, by Todd Rogers.

Todd Rogers picked up a Canon Digital Rebel XT the other day. The camera I have nigh been lusting over for the past three months. But I think Todd needs one more than I do; He is very good with a camera that he's had only a couple days to play with. After shooting a bunch of pictures to see what the camera will do, he shot the following pictures, which I think color corrected, and posted online. These really are beauties, in my opinion.

Isn't that gorgeous? Todd shot about a kajillion of these.

At this point, I'm jealous of his mad skills for composition.

I like this one, though the tail is a bit distracting from the scenery, I just like how he doesn't have the whole airplaine and yet you make it part of the picture mentally. You know it's there, but he doesn't have to show it. Nice shot, Todd!

And this one he did such a great job picking exposure and other things; I just am blown away. Great going Todd, I'm proud to know ya! And for all of you who think Alaska is just another state, remember that this is one of the uglier places in Alaska. The pretty ones are breathtaking. Hey Todd! Get some shots of Mt. Susitna, eh? The good ol' sleeping lady!

Leave Todd a comment here, and I'll be sure it gets to him!
